Christine Heilbron, Founder of Meditation Savvy
Christine has been practicing yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for over ten years, exploring different styles of asana and meditation under local and international teachers. She is a graduate of a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and has spent time in retreat at the Himalayan Institute. She is certified to teach vinyasa, Hatha, and restorative styles of yoga and has additional training in trauma sensitivity. This not only helped deepen her practice but also strengthened the many ways the practice had inspired her life. Christine has also practiced Vipassana and Buddhist meditation and incorporates these principles into her yoga practice, teaching, and personal philosophy.
Christine has experienced personal healing and resilience through her practice and wants to share yoga as a potent tool for strengthening the body and mind, managing stress, and living a healthy life. She believes everyone can benefit from yoga through gentle exploration and connection with the body. She teaches a mindful vinyasa class, allowing students to find their breath and connect with movement.
Her practice strives for a balance between strength and flexibility in physical challenges and encourages taking emotional issues from our lives and working them out on the yoga mat. Through mindful movement and meditation, we can relieve the stress of our daily lives. Inhale love, exhale gratitude.
